Summer Internship Program

July 2 - August 23, 2018

Jump Start Your Career with a Wide Range of Internships

The growing interest in internships has led to a considerable expansion in the offerings, and we encourage students to inquire about opportunities that may not be on our list. We welcome students interested in a specific field or location to be in touch with our Internship Coordinator about those possibilities and we will do our best to find a suitable placement.

The Summer Internship Program is a two-part 5 credit program that features a directed work-study experience related to the academic or vocational interests of the student, in conjunction with a Career Development Course. The program is coordinated by a member of the International School, a course faculty member, and on-site placement supervisors with academic and professional credentials.

Internship Syllabus: 20 hours of work per week at the internship placement: 2 credits

  Internship Placement List by Major

  Career Development Course: 3 credits

Students are required to be active learners in both the internship placement and the Career Development course. Upon successful completion of the program, students receive 5 academic credits. Students cannot choose to do only one part of the program.
