Academics
The Arabic Language Program awards 2 academic credits.
Meetings take place three to four days a week for two academic hours each day – total: 28 academic hours for the course.

This course is designed for students with no prior knowledge of Spoken Arabic or the written language (MSA). An emphasis will be put on the Levantine Dialects. The language of instruction will be a combination of Arabic and English in order to explain the foundations of the Spoken Arabic. Students are introduced to the Spoken Arabic first of all through the rich world of greetings and then by exposing them to a few chosen topics that are necessary to facilitate their way in everyday conversations. Teaching these topics will be based on explanations of basic grammar as well.This program also exposes the students to the fascinating Arab culture, Arabic songs and conversations.The classes will be held online through ZOOM classroom system. The students will also use the Moodle system for assignments’ submission (details will be sent by the International School at the university after registration).
The cost of the course is $800. Scholarships are available!

The online intensive Hebrew course is designed for those who want to immerse themselves in an intensive language acquisition experience that is personally enriching as well as academically demanding. Instruction will be offered at the beginner II ( Alef 2) level and is for those who have already completed the Alef I level.
Academics
Classes are held Mondays through Thursdays for four academic hours per day and awards 4 credits.
Classes will be taught remotely through the ZOOM online classroom system and will be held between the hours of 2:00 pm- 5:30 pm Israel time (7:00 pm - 10:30 pm China Time and 7:00 am - 10:30 am EDT)

The course focuses on acquiring vocabulary and grammar skills using everyday topics and daily situations. It equips learners with the essential skills needed to communicate confidently and effectively in Levantine Arabic in a broad range of situations.
Students interested in learning Modern Standard Arabic are welcome to enroll in the semester course of the International School.
