Ms. Anna Reebs completed her undergraduate and graduate studies in Psychology and Political Science at the University of Munich, Germany, and came to Israel to conduct her doctoral research in clinical psychology at the Observing Minds Lab at the University of Haifa.
In her dissertation research, Reebs focuses on the effects and underlying mechanisms of a Mindfulness-Based-Trauma-Recovery (MBTR) Intervention on mental health and wellbeing of traumatized Eritrean refugees residing in Israel. Reeb’s main research interests involve the cross-cultural application of clinical psychological science, the potential of mindfulness in trauma therapy, and the underlying mechanisms of action in mindfulness practice.
Reeb is also involved in work at a refugee aid-organization providing psycho-social services to refugees residing in Israel.
