In order to gain an in-depth understanding of Israel and its relationship with the surrounding Middle East, this course is a unique opportunity to learn about a fascinating topic in the area where it is taking place. The course focuses on the development of Jewish and Arab nationalism and the ensuing clash between the two cultures.

It looks into topics such as the relationship between Jews and Arabs, politics, military, culture, religion, etc., to help students have a comprehensive understanding of both the history and the current situation, and to analyze the evolution and future trends of Middle East relations from the perspective of international relations.

The course covers topics that are distinctive to the region, including the Arab-Israeli conflict, Zionist trends, Israeli statehood, nationalist movements, international affairs, and more. This course will provide students and future Middle East researchers with the necessary research tools to enhance students' cultural awareness of the region's history and current situation.
