  • Applicants must be American and studying at an American college/university with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
  • Undergraduate applicants must be admitted to a semester or full acamic year at the International School.
  • Graduate applicants must be admitted to year-long program at the International School.
  • Applicants must be actively engaged with pro-Israel activities on their college campus and/or Jewish community in the United States.

  • Application to the Intensive Summer Ulpan.
  • EU citizens or citizens of another European non-EU country (Albania, Armenia, Belarus, Gibraltar, Iceland, Lichtenstein, Macedonia, Montenegro, Norway, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, and Russia).
  • Based at a European university. 
  • Either a graduate student or early career scholar (who received their doctoral degree no more than five years ago). 
  • Researching a topic within the field of Jewish Studies. 
  • Able to demonstrate the relevance of Hebrew language skills to their research interests. 
  • Submit a final report to the World Union of Jewish Studies after completion of the program.
