Two-Year Bachelor's Degree in English at the University of Haifa

UHaifa offers a transformative Bachelor’s degree program uniquely structured to provide students with diverse academic clusters, broadening their educational horizons and equipping them with critical skills for the technological and eclectic job market of today.

All courses are conducted in English, featuring in-depth explorations of various aspects of Israeli society within a historical, cultural, and political framework. This rigorous academic exposure ensures our graduates are on par with global educational standards, ready to excel in both local and international spheres.

Two Years, One Degree

  • Two-year international BA program taught in English, two days a week, over six consecutive semesters from October 2025.
  • Summer semester of the first year of study will be taught online.

Three Years, Two Degrees

  • Consider joining one of our one-year International Master’s degree programs and complete both your BA and MA in just three years. You can see our Master degree programs here.
  • The MA programs are taught in English over three consecutive semesters from October through September.

  • All courses are subject to change

Admissions Requirements

  • Matriculation Certificate / high school diploma or an equivalent recognized by the Israeli Ministry of Education or by the Registration Department. Please attach a complete high school transcript.
  • Official transcript – High School Final Grade Point Average of 80 or equivalent
  • Eighteen (18) years old at the start of the first semester
  • For non-native English speakers: English Fluency Exam- minimum score of 100 on TOEFL
  • Students that possess an Israeli ID are required to take a Hebrew placement test
  • Personal interview with the program’s Academic Head.

  • Matriculation Certificate / high school diploma or an equivalent recognized by the Israeli Ministry of Education or by the Registration Department. Please attach a complete high school transcript of records.
  • 2 academic letters of recommendation from teachers
  • For non-native English speakers: TOEFL – minimum score  of 100
  • Essay/Motivation Letter: Between 400-500 words about why you wish to study at the UHaifa International, and what you hope to gain from your study abroad experience.
  • Medical forms (international students only).
  • Copy of valid passport.

If your transcripts are not from a high school in the United States, then you must:

  • Have your transcript translated into English.
  • Have your grades and their average calculated according to the system used in the United States (4-point scale). This translation and calculation must be submitted as an official document from your university.

A copy of the original (untranslated) official transcript should accompany the translated one.

Tuition and Fees
