Dr. Hiba Fahoum

Hiba Fahoum finished her PhD degree in the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at Haifa University. She completed her dissertation on “The Characteristics of the Media’s Arabic Language as Reflected in ‘aṣ-Ṣinnāra’ (As-Sennara) Newspaper: 1983-2013.” Dr. Fahoum also received her M.A. in Arabic Language and Literature in 2009 with highest honors at the University of Haifa with a thesis entitled “The Contribution of Modern Linguistics to the Understanding of the Issue of Common Spelling Errors in Contemporary Arabic.” Dr. Fahoum holds a teaching certificate and has taught remedial lessons in English and Arabic at the university in the Department of Academic and Personal Assistance, and worked as a teacher at the Franciscan Sisters’ School in Nazareth. She has been working in the International School for years, teaching the courses of “Spoken Arabic” (Colloquial Arabic) and “Conversational Arabic.”

Rabbi Dr. Avi Kadish

Rabbi Dr. Avi Kadish earned his PhD at the University of Haifa (2006) in medieval Jewish philosophy. He previously studied at Yeshiva University, NY, where he earned two masters’ degrees in Bible and in Jewish Education, as well as his rabbinical ordination. His areas of research are the medieval reactions to Maimonides and the ethical literature of Judaism. Dr. Kadish has taught Jewish studies in American Jewish day schools, in the Israeli public school system, and in the education corps of the IDF. He currently teaches medieval Jewish history, philosophy and Bible at Oranim Teacher’s College in Kiryat Tivon, as well as adult Israeli Jewish education through the Schechter Institute.

Rabbi Dr. Avi Kadish

Mr. Yisrael Ne’eman

Yisrael Ne’eman has a B.A. in Middle Eastern Studies from Rutgers University and an MA in Jewish History from the University of Haifa. He teaches courses at the University of Haifa and the Technion International Schools pertaining to Israel, the Jewish people, and the Middle East focusing on nationalism and Jihad related topics. Over the years he has lectured elsewhere in Israel and abroad.

Ne’eman has been a professional tour guide since 1985 with an emphasis on educational programming. He was local council chairman of the Eshhar Community Village for twelve years where he lives with his wife Susan. His recent book Hamas Jihad was published by White Hart Publications and is available on Amazon.

Dr. Chava Sommer holds a PhD in Hebrew Literature from the University of Haifa.  She did a MA in Hebrew Linguistics and a BA in Geography. Dr. Sommer has been teaching Hebrew for thirty years in numerous prestigious institutions of higher learning both in Israel and abroad.

Ms. Mor Naveh Mann

Mor Naveh Mann, a certified Hebrew teacher with over a decade of experience, holds a B.A. and an M.A. in Art History and Philosophy from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her diverse background enhances her teaching approach, creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment for students to explore the richness of the Hebrew language and Israeli culture. With the privilege of instructing international and local students in Jerusalem and Haifa, she fosters a vibrant tapestry of cultural exchange and linguistic exploration in her classrooms.

Ms. Ruthy Norany

Ruthy Norani has many years of experience teaching Hebrew as a second language. She has a BA in History and a Teaching Certificate from the University of Haifa. In addition, she obtained her certification in Didactic Diagnosis from the Gordon Academic College in Haifa. Ruthy Noran has taught the Hebrew language to young people and adults who speak many different languages ​​in the branches of the Ministry of Education, in learning and community centers, and in schools. For about two decades now, she has been teaching Hebrew in the Study Abroad program of UHaifa International.

Dr. Carmit Rapaport

Carmit Rapaport is the Director of the Institute for Regulation of Emergency and Disaster at the College of Law and Business in Israel. Dr. Rapaport is also the Academic Coordinator of the MA programs in Disaster Management and Fire Studies at the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies at the University of Haifa (senior academic staff). Carmit Rapaport received her Ph.D. from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in 2011. Dr. Rapaport fields of interests are population behavior during emergencies and disasters, crisis leadership, adaptive behavior and business continuity. She has received research grants from the Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Tourism, and Ministry of Defense among others. She participated as a senior researcher in the EU FP7 BEMOSA project.
