MBA Technology Management

*In partnership with East China Normal University (ECNU) Shanghai, China.

Technology innovation can drive business value, but it also poses many management challenges. Israel is known as “startup nation” because of the large number of technology-oriented startups that are launched here. The University of Haifa’s MBA in Technology Management is the first MBA program in an Israeli university that trains students to lead technology-focused companies.

The goal of this MBA program is to teach management practices for addressing the opportunities and challenges of technology products. Besides academic courses, the program includes numerous meetings with Israeli startups, from whom students can learn about industry practice. The students come from various countries and industries, which adds significantly to the learning experience. Our teaching faculty are highly published and regarded in their fields. Finally, both the business school and the international school have a reputation for taking care of students’ practical needs. We expect that students will have an excellent learning experience and will graduate with the skills they need for successful leadership of technology companies.

Here are a few of the program’s unique points that relate to technology management:

  • Specialized courses on how to create lasting value from technology. Examples include: dynamic strategy, rapid prototyping, product management, cybersecurity, and other topics.
  • Ongoing and academically meaningful interactions with top executives from Israeli startup companies.
  • Capstone course that requires students to simulate the launch of a technology product.
