Modern German & European Studies

About:

The UHaifa International Master of Arts program in Modern German and European Studies provides students with in-depth knowledge of Germany and its role in the European Union. Since our Haifa Center for German & European Studies (HCGES) cooperates with local and global academic departments and programs, our students also benefit from the opportunity to focus on European-related issues and perspectives.
Our interdisciplinary curriculum offers relevant courses in the social sciences, humanities, economics and law, alongside German language classes and research project opportunities at the center for the History and Heritage of German-speaking Jewry in Israel (AGHJI). These courses prepare them for careers in relevant international, German, Israeli, and European interfaces, including academia, business, NGOs, diplomacy, tourism, communication, media, cultural and public administration.

Exceptionally generous scholarships and living stipends are also offered to eligible students.
